From Mechanisms to Medicine: Rethinking the Discovery-to-Care Continuum in Multi-System Disorders
Date: 2026-09-23
Location: Hybrid Meeting Neuroscience Center, North Bethesda, MD
EndoRISE is honored to be a sponsor of this NIH workshop, From Mechanisms to Medicine: Rethinking the Discovery-to-Care Continuum in Multi-System Disorders.

The workshop brings together leading researchers, clinicians, and people with lived experience (PWLEs) to explore the biological and clinical connections across disorders that often span multiple systems of the body.

Discussion topics will include:
• Chronic overlapping pain conditions
• Infection-associated conditions
• Neuroimmune dysfunction
• Sex differences in disease presentation
• Genetic contributions to disease
• Autonomic nervous system dysfunction

By uniting scientific expertise, clinical insight, and lived experience, the workshop aims to strengthen connections across the discovery-to-care continuum and identify new opportunities for collaboration, research, and improved patient care..

We're especially glad to share that EndoRISE Co-Director Dr. Elise Courtois will serve as a co-chair. EndoRISE is proud to sponsor the workshop's Trainee and Early Career Investigator Breakfast, supporting the next generation of researchers in this field.

Registration is now open. Register for the workshop here
